Theories I have a million
Oct. 5th, 2011 12:02 am* Steve knows about Jenna ‘s play date and we’re just waiting to see what he does.
* He the only one on the team that is in on Kono’s undercover work, which works a lot better at his indifference to her plight for me than he just doesn’t give a fuck.
* Lori didn’t go straight into the opening credits because she’s on a fast track for collateral damage if she doesn’t gain acceptance.
* The others have only just worked out just how lethal and singleminded Steve can be when he's focussed on an objective and they're both in awe and grateful he's on their side.

Date: 2011-10-05 12:57 pm (UTC)I'm not sure if Steve knows about Kono, but I would think so since he might have to sign off on her working for IA, or something. But it makes sense that Chin would be the only team member she would have contact with, seeing as they're actually also cousins; if she's (supposed to be) off the force, even though it's not unlikely they could remain friends, it would look more suspicious if Steve &/or Danny were having tons of contact with her while the undercover op's going down.
As for Lori, I still think she's not as permanent on the team/in the show as she's been made out to be. It's not that hard to change the main title sequence, if they wanted to; they already did it for Masi Oka, & I don't think it was that long after that they signed Lauren German they COULD have put them both in at the same time (except they might not have had enough filmed with Lauren yet that they coud do those multiple pics of each individual actor that they use in the title sequence when each lead gets their individual credit.
I totally agree on Point 4. Chin was all "I'm glad he's on our side", after he saw what SEALs are capable of, incluidng Steve, 'cause if Steve knows how to do all that SEAL stuff that was depicted in the show (& possibly more they didn't see), then he'd be way too formidable an opponent if he were a bad guy. So, ergo (as D likes to say), it's better for Five-0 that Steve's on their side instead of the opposite side & they're having to fight him/try to take him down. Or something like that.
