Finding nothing he considered useful, yet, in the house, he moved quickly towards the barn.

The barn was the same as he remembered it, the same as many barns. His father had kept his equipment meticulously and everything appeared to be the same now, everything had a place and for the most part was in it. Walking into the tack room he let his fingers trace over dust covered saddles, across the workbench, memories flooding over him as he let his fingers touch his father’s hand tooled saddle bags. The creak of a door dragged him from his memories, both hands dropping to his hips, drawing his Colts, he aimed one at each door, flicking his gaze between the entrances.

So...

I spent yesterday at Supanova which ran the gamut from a really good time to simply bloody amazing. Met my favourite hobbit, spent some time in a queue with someone in a spectacular Bilbo costume. Incidentally discovered that Jar Jar is dating a Stormtrooper (for reals), spent some uncomfortable time in a queue directly in front of a pair of furries that were getting 'friendly' with each other, but day climaxed with a panel with my favourite hobbit who had 500 people in the palm of his hand, and was handing out free hugs.

Today? Am working on my bang fic, got an extension until monday morning I'm at 23k now so fingers crossed I won't have any interruptions and it will flow as well as it has been so far. Not bad when it underwent a total remake and was only 5k around this time last week

This incidentally could be considered a GIP, because a dear friend has gifted me with an icon that the PLWA will hate but it gleefully gives me curly toes, so I will be using it at the least provocation. I'm thinking it may just become my Review Icon until an excision occurs. I've promised anonimity to said pal, but public thanks were called for because of said joy. So thank you my friend.
