Date: 2011-11-18 12:46 pm (UTC)Wednesdays were SWAT and Starsky and Hutch, and Friday nights were Black Sheep Squadron.
And speaking of BSS, it ties back to H50 did you know? James Whitmore Jnr who played Jim directed Ho'apono.
I've got the eps on DVD when I can work out how to make my computer play a double sided DVD I'll upload them if you would like.

Date: 2011-11-21 12:16 pm (UTC)I didn't know about Whitmore! That's so cool. For years I was always thrilled to recognize an actor from BSS on other shows. John Larroquette, for example---god I loved "Night Court." And the guy who played "Rick" on "Magnum P.I."
That's really sweet of you to offer to upload the BSS episodes, thank you! But I don't feel the need to re-visit them.....it was just neat you mentioned it, as I've never heard anyone else ever mention it. And that we both watched it with our Dads.....

Date: 2011-11-19 04:13 am (UTC)Also, Ringer is good, but probably best watched along something else. I think it's quite interesting for something that's more along the lines of drama as opposed to fantasy or cop shows, but yeah. Do get on it eventually, I recommend it. Ioan Gruffudd and Sarah Michelle Gellar and Nestor Carbonell make it worth it. :D
lol Friends is in my personal un-funniest shows ever list. :D idg its appeal at all.

Date: 2011-11-19 09:32 am (UTC)I never even gave NCIS LA a second glance until Eric Christian Olsen joined the cast, and now I can't leave it alone. The cases are about as believable as H50 but the chemistry between Daniela Ruah and ECO is almost as addictive as Alex O'loughlin and Scott Caan.
I've got all of the Ringer Episodes recorded, I just need time to catch up. I'm hoping it will be good.
Friends is only funny for me because it's almost like a documentary of my groups of friends at the time it was screening. I thinkthe funny comes from the reminders of my own friends and happy times.
