Day 2: Name the fandoms you've written in, and how much you've written in that fandom, and if you still write in it.

God, this will be a long and bountiful list. The fandoms I have written in, back in the days before computers made the world of sharing fanfic a grabby hands experience for me at least? Three for the Road, San Pedro Beach Bums, Battlestar Galactica,Hardy Boys, Love Boat (shut up, I hear you snickering over there), Emergency, SWAT, Vegas, Starsky and Hutch, Sgt Peppers, The Professionals, bonanza.

It seems however, my list has only shrunk since the grabby hands came into effect, maybe because I've become much more prolific in each fandom, rather than skipping willy nilly from fandom to fandom. I've almost become a one fandom woman. Where I would happily write in one fandom every night I probably never ever got the voice right, now I practice immersion. So currently I'm only writing in Lotrips (because who could leave them alone) and Hawaii Five-0.

The Young Riders (141), Magnificent Seven (85), Lotrips (73), Hawaii Five-0 (18).

Apparently making me count makes me less vociferous. Who would have thunk it.

Day 3: For each of the fandoms from day two, who were/are your favourite characters to write?

So for the purposes of expediency because you know I'm going to waffle endlessly I'm only going to expound on the fandoms I've actually posted fic for, not the stuff I used to hide in my LP covers (yes I said LP's, for those of you who don't predate the 90's they would be the big black vinyl things that made music with a needle not a laser).

So without further ado...

The Young Riders - I loved to write Buck, he was quiet and almost ethereal somedays but somehow he always was the one that spoke the most to me.

Magnificent Seven - No question, Ezra Standish was the one that was a joy for me. The whole character was an absolute joy, his way of speech, his costuming, his whole attitude to the west was something that I could sink my teeth into and run away with. Buck was a heap of fun to write too, he was such a big gregarious flirt who wouldn't love writing him. Most amusing of all was the fact that TYR Buck and M7Buck used to fight each other in my head.

Lotrips - this was my first and so far only foray into RPS. But seriously, they slashed themselves so how could you not love them. My favourites to write? I'm seriously a pervy hobbit fancier, so I very rarely stray very far from writing Billy Boyd, but I do have a completely soft spot for elves and filthy humans, so Orlando Bloom and Daisy Wenham quite frequently find their way into my fic, especially when they happen to arrive together.

So now we come to my new and bright shiny fandom of Hawaii Five-0 - I don't think I've been here long enough to formulate an absolute favourite, but ohmyfuckingGod I absolutely adore writing Steven J. McGarrett. He's so complex, but yet he's not. His issues have their own set of issues. His emotions run so strongly without bleeding through his personality. He says so much without saying a word. He's the perfect character for fanfic hands down. There are just so many levels that can be pored over and expounded in fic.
