The universe is conspiring.
Nov. 24th, 2011 03:45 pmSo, flight was tolerable even with rain squalls and turbulence.
We get to Sydney, catch a cab to the dock, get priority boarding and find ourselves on board. I'm pretty sure I've stepped into the twilight zone or maybe 1956would be closer to the mark. Maybe the set of Happy Days. They're all dressed in 50's style clothing, right down to the poodles on their skirts. And I have never seen so many men masquerading as Elvis.
However, I may never leave the stateroom.
The tv was on the Cruise information channel when we came in so you know me I had to channel surf. I have three in English. The Royal Carribean Information channel, a RC CBS mash up and a travelogue that today is featuring Hawaii, more specifically Kailua. The best part? The CBS mash up seems to have three series that it is cycling through the eps of.
The good wife, I can live without that. NCIS LA, very impressive, but the best bit? Five 0 seems to be the flagship program here. Already had three episodes starting from Ho'Opa'i. the second best bit? Every second time there is a commercial on it's the one with Steve reciting the oath.
I'm telling you....I may never leave the room.
