kapuahiOMG, How much have we missed Steven J. McGarrett. They could have told us on they were on the moon and I wouldn't have given a FRA, Danny's boyfriend's back, and Wo Fat's gonna be in trouble.
Under the cut there are spoilers and all sorts of speculation, from the last two episodes of the Season that almost sucked the life out of fandom.
So the penultimate episode has happened, and OMG what an episode. I can't recall being so absorbed in an episode since 2.01, also I can't remember being so antipatory that I begged for a blow by blow from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
stellarmeadow so i could appease my episode nerves until I could download, and heaven help you all, I had coda fics in my head just from the commentary.
I know there were plot holes, though I'm almost happy to say not as bad as normal, am I right? But this time instead of being semi trailer sized they were maybe volkswagen sized?
The main things I took from it?
Stephanie Sengupta needs to write all of the eps. I can forgive the plot for everything when the banter and team interaction is this good. She seems to be the only one that really gets that the team relationships are the key to this show. Not the case de jour, not the legalese but the characterisation.
Kono and Adam have the potential to break my little heart. Did I see it coming? No. Did it come out of leftfield? Most definitely. But they were perfect and heartbreaking and I loved every minute of them and I really want them to bring Adam back.
Speaking of breaking hearts? Steve and Danny were at their BAMF best, and Steve was his heart eyed best, and even Danny was getting in on the lingering touches. Keep it up boys, keep it up.
Now about the promos for the finale.
I am so worried for Max, I'm almost sure he's the one that is going, but I'm more than happy to be proven wrong, because I love our Max.
Likewise I'm worried about Kono, they can't bring Cath in as an additional team member because they've learned that that doesn't work. I'm afeared that she's moving to make room for Cath. I love Cath to peices, but I'm afraid they're going to replace Kono with her on the team and effectively lobotomise her, signing her death warrant with Fandom. She has so much to offer and they're going to kill her whether they mean to or not.
Why the fuck can't they just kill Joe and Fryer, the last of the Season 2 dead wood would be gone and we can start fresh in Season 3.
