So, number three gave you my first remembered musical love. Number four gives you my first line the ceiling with his posters musical love (because c'mon mom said no posters on the wall, nobody said a thing about the ceiling). I give you Leif Garrett.

What? I was a twelve year old girl, and he was the hottest thing since Bjorn from ABBA (yeah, don't ask). Poor Old Leif, sometime before he went so wildly off the tracks he had all 12 to 14 year old girls in the universe eating out of the palm of his sweaty hand, wanting to live in winnebago's and riding skateboards. "I was Made For Dancing' wasn't his best, and yes I realise the irony of 'his best', but at the time it was the best music in the world. My favourite song at the time was 'Special Kind of Girl' but "Dancing' did have his pleather pants (that I'm pretty sure explained his vocal pitch) and bad boy jacket. I blame him for my love of men with longish curly hair, though I think complete blame for that goes to Martin Shaw aka Doyle of Professionals fame.

But, I digress, Leif brings me to Peter Frampton (who could be his big brother) who actually did have musical talent. My favourite music from around that time was a film that I'm sure Barry Gibb has shredded every last copy of. Peter Frampton, The Bee Gees and Aerosmith all in the one movie? Yes I give you Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. I actually passed up an opportunity to see Battlestar Galactica (yes the 1978 version where Starbuck actually had a penis) on the big screen just to see Sgt Peppers a second time. This movie might also be to blame for me wearing white bib overalls with my name embroidered on the bib far too often that year.

And just so I have a record of it in the future, still my favourite version of "Long and winding Road' from the same movie
